I worked with a team of five artists: Darius Jover, Elmo La Mantia, Brady Thomas, Samir Riecke, and myself, to create this environment over a focused five-week sprint for Beyond Extent’s “Witches Den” challenge.
Together, we aligned on a shared vision, built a modular kit, and developed the scene into a cohesive, game-ready environment filled with atmospheric lighting and story-rich details. The goal was to capture the feeling of a mystical den where rituals, knowledge, and hidden intentions converge. My contributions included the hero tree, several key props (vases, incense burner, lantern), and various smaller decorative elements like the wind chime and masks.
This project sharpened my collaborative workflow, taught me how to maintain stylistic consistency across multiple artists, and pushed me to deliver quality work under a tight deadline. Proud of what our team accomplished together. Huge thanks to my amazing teammates for their incredible work, to our mentor Scot, to the Beyond Extent team for organizing this challenge, and to my family and friends for their support throughout the project.
